Appearance; I am a testament to my breed, or at least, that is what my mother would tell me. I knew she was living in the old times when she told me, her only surviving pup that. I knew she was living in the times when she and my father went to dog shows, won blue ribbons, and slept on soft beds. But anyway, I'm off track. Well, I suppose I look like any other Saluki. My frame is thin and frail looking, though in all honesty I think I'm pretty tough. How couldn't I be? I may not have a lot of physical strength, but I have intelligence and speed to back me up. I guess that I am an average sized dog. I stand at around twenty three inches at my withers and I weigh about thirty eight pounds. I'm a bit thin, but what do you expect? Living out here is hard, and I am thankful every day that my parents weren't take alongside me. They never would have made it.. I hope they are doing okay.. Well, back to my looks. When I was born, I was a beautiful bright white color, but years of working to survive and rolling around in the dirt to do so have caused my coat to become an off white color. Still pretty beautiful in my opinion, but none of that really matters. I have what my mother called 'feathering' on my paws, ears, and tail. She was always really excited about it, but it really just gets in the way. I have to spend extra time grooming it so it doesn't get all matted. Time that I would rather be spending working out a way to survive. I have a pretty.. Long... face I suppose you could say. My snout is thin, and the nose at the end of it is as black as midnight. My eyes stare straight out from my face, making sight for me an asset. I can see very well, and it helps me a lot when I am hunting. My eyes are dark brown, sometimes they look black, and sometimes when the light hits them just right they look light brown. My ears are floppy, and look longer than they actually are due to the feathering on them.
