ElliasBorder Collie , 3 , Male . History;
Ellias was born in a puppy mill. From the moment he was born in the filthy cage, he’d been surrounded by the sound of loudly barking dogs, yelling humans, and the ever feared sound of footsteps. He was one of the lucky ones, a few of his litter mates died because their mother couldn’t produce enough milk for all of them with the food that the humans were feeding her. Soon enough, he was pulled from the cage with his mother and tossed into one of his own, his cries, as well as his surviving littermates and his mothers, echoed through the large complex. He was scared without his mother to protect him or his siblings to gather strength from. He stayed in that cage for a while, now accustomed to the filthy living conditions and the mean and ill-tempered humans, thinking that was how they all were.
Then came that fateful day when the puppy mill he was at got raided by the ASPCA. He was taken from that cage for the first time, weak, shaking and whimpering in fear, thinking the humans would hurt him. But they were different than the ones that had come into his home formerly. They were nice and kind, crooning softly in a way that made him feel safe. They took him away, cleaning him up and giving him some food, nursing him back to health before he was locked in another cage, but a big one this time. He wasn’t used to all the space to run around in, even though it wasn’t actually that much space. The dog in the cage next to him eventually became his friend, and told him that if he wanted to get out of the cage, he’d have to trust the humans that came in here and try to appear as happy as he could so you would get adopted.
So that’s what Ellias did. Every time a new human came down his row of cages, he jumped up, quickly getting to the front of his cage, wagging his tail excitedly. For a while though, people just walked passed, making him think he was doing something wrong. But then, one day a young guy walked down his row of cages, a cowboy hat on his head and a thoughtful expression on his face. The minute Ellias saw him; he knew he was going to go home with him. He bounded around his cage, trying to get the guys attention, which he did, licking the guy’s fingers when he stuck them through the cage. From that day forth, they were inseparable. They both did work around the farm that the young guy owned; herding sheep and cattle was a favorite of them both. Things were good, but, of course, things never stay good.
As Ellias’ human was riding his horse, the horse startled, throwing its owner off its back and crushing him in its haste to get away. Ellias smelled the blood, and darted off, barking as loud as he could, hoping his owner’s new wife would hear and follow him. But by the time she got there and called the ambulance it was too late. Overcome with grief, Ellias lay at that spot, refusing to leave and growling at anybody who tried to move him. Eventually, the wife left him alone, only going out there to feed him and give him water. A month after his owner’s death, Ellias woke up in the sand on a beach somewhere, alone, although he could tell others were there…now if only he could figure out exactly where there was and how he could get back home.
Personality;
Ellias is plagued with demons but he also has a few good personality traits that make up for it. While he may seem shy or anti-social at first, once you get to know him, you’d meet the real Ellias.
Intelligent: Being a Border Collie, Ellias is naturally very smart, seeing as that is a characteristic of his breed. But in addition to that, he also loves to learn. That’s why he’s so smart, sometimes too smart for his own good.
Curious: Curiosity killed the cat? Well lucky for him, he’s all canine. He can be sort of pup like with his curiosity, always wanting to learn new things and how to make things works. It can be kind of annoying sometimes, especially when the questions are actually being asked over and over to an unlucky dog.
Shy : Its true, Ellias is shy, and painfully so sometimes. He never really learned how to socialize in the puppy mill or in the animal shelter. But honestly, he’s only shy around dogs he doesn’t really know, if you’re nice, he’ll open up.
Exitable: Once again true to the nature of Border Collie’s, Ellias is an excitable dog. There’s some things that will have him bouncing off the walls so to speak, eager and ready to do something, anything really. Herding is one of the things that excites him. It is, after all, his favorite activity.
Loyal: Ellias’ loyalty is evident by the way he wouldn’t leave the site of his owners death back at his home. He’s one of the dogs that you can always count on to be there for you no matter what. He will stand by you unwaiveringly, unless of course he feels what you’re doing is wrong morally.
Guilty: Ellias has somehow made himself believe that the death of his owner was his fault. Like he could’ve stopped him from dying or getting trampled if he’d been there, walking alongside like normal, instead of ‘holding down the fort’ like he’d been told to do.
Skittish: Being raised for the most part in a noisy puppy mill with mean humans banging on cages and shooting sick dogs made Ellias kind of skittish. He’s gotten better but loud noises still startle and freaks him out a bit.
Appearance;
Overall, Ellias is a fairly handsome dog. Not extreamly threatening normally, although he can have his moments just like everybody else. His body is very athletic, allowing him to do many things with ease. He stands about 21 inches tall, a good size for a male Border Collie and weighs around 40 pounds.
Head Ellias’ head is broad and about as long as his muzzle. His eyes are set a moderate distance apart, a rounded oval shape. They’re a beautiful light chocolate brown color and sometimes, in certain lights, fleck of green can be seen in his eyes. His ears both sit erect on his head although the left one does flop down a little bit, giving him a cute and quirky look. The color of the fur on his face gives him the appearance that he’s wearing a mask of sorts. There’s a strip of white, running down the middle of his forehead, directly in-between his eyes, widening as it reaches the muzzle, creating an upside down Y shape. The fur around his eyes and ears are black, as well as the back of his head.
Body His neck is strong and muscular, in perfect proportion to the rest of his body. Its slightly arched and flows smoothly to his shoulders. His shoulders are broad, as is his chest. His legs are long and muscular, his hind legs curved perfectally. His paw pads are tough from the work on the farm so he can easily move over rough terrain. His tail is set low, most of it being black while the tip is white.
Coat Ellias is a smooth coated, bi colored Border Collie. Black and white are the two colors of his fur. The tip of his tail, his muzzle and a strip down his forehead, his neck and chest, front legs from the elbow down and back paws are all white, while the rest of him is black. His fur is smooth for the most part until it grows out a bit, getting a bit longer and more feathery.
Likes & Dislikes;
[+]Rain Ellias loves rain. The feeling of it beating against his fur is relaxing, almost like a mini massage. He also feels like it helps to wash things away, mentally and physically, giving everybody a clean, fresh start.
[+]Herding Being a Border collie, he was made to herd. Especially since it was something he did with his former owner. He’ll literally herd anything he can, doing it out of instinct and habit more than anything else.
[+]Running Ellias likes running because he can forget everything and just run. The fact that he’s quick and athletic helps a lot too. He likes the feeling of his feet pounding on the ground and the wind in his fur.
[+]Learning new things Because of his curious and intellectual nature, he naturally is always wanting to learn new things. He’s always trying to figure things out, especially all the weird things happening on the island.
[+]Puppies Considering much of Ellias’ own puppyhood was spent in a filthy cage, he loves watching puppies who actually have the change to be puppies. He sometimes even joins in on their silly games, enjoying the chance to feel like a puppy again.
[-]Loud Noises Being the skittish dog that he is, Ellias hates loud noises. They startle and scare him, reminding him of the mean humans at the puppy mill who would always hurt dogs.
[-]Fighting Ellias isn’t a violent dog. He hates fighting or hurting other dogs. It doesn’t feel right to him, but if he has to, he can and will fight with a vicious vengeance.
[-]Horses It was a horse that killed his owner. Accident or not, he’s sworn revenge on the large, heavy and much stronger beasts. He will get his revenge one way or another and avenge his owner.
[-]Bullies While he may not seem like the type, Ellias is actually pretty brave, especially when it comes to bullies. He hates bullies and with always help dogs in need.
[-]Dishonesty He hates it when dogs lie. The truth always comes out eventually. It might sting a bit now but if you lie about something big then its gonna be a lot worse when then truth is finally set free. And he feels like he can’t be trusted or he can’t trust the dog telling the lie when he’s lied to.
Goals & Desires;
To Find a mate Ellias, like many other dogs, wants to find a mate. Because of his love of pups, he can’t wait to become a father but until that happens he’ll have to settle with entertaining the pups of others.
Find a way off the Island Ellias wants to go home. He wants to go back to the farm and try to make things right again…you know what; he doesn’t even have to get home, just off the island. There’s something weird about this place.
Figure out the secrets of the island Because Ellias is so curious, he naturally wants to know what makes this island so special. How did they get there? Why do some of the things that happen, happen? How do they get back home? He’s determined to answer the questions, with the help of others of course.
To get over his shyness Ellias hates that he's shy. It makes things so much harder. Especially if there's a pretty female thrown into the mix. He wants to be more confident because he's learned that that seems to be more attractive.
Get his revenge That has been a goal of Ellias' ever since the death of his owner. How exactally he plans on killing every single horse in the whole world, I don't know but for all he knows, theres only the ones on his farm that actually exist.
Fly I know it sounds stupid but Ellias really wants to be able to fly. Birds seem to do it with such ease and they can go anywhere they want pretty quickly. It seems like a good deal to him.
Strengths & Weaknesses;
Agility His athleticism and agility are big strengths out here in the wild, especially in the jungle. He’s more equipped to move through it than any dainty little lap dog would be.
Intelligence Ellias’ intelligence is a big advantage out here. He can easily learn new skills and teach them to others, as well as using his prior knowledge to help them survive.
[w]Shyness Ellias is shy around strangers. It makes it hard for him to communicate and sometimes makes him appear as if he’s stuck up or anti-social when that is not the case at all.
[w]Stutter When he gets really nervous, he stutters. Some dogs think its cute, other dogs think its annoying. He can’t help it though, that’s just what happens.

Everything looks good except you need to have 3 goals and 3 desires to have a total of 6 in that portion. After you fix that me or Cider will re-evaluate and hopefully accept!
