Official Site Rules
General
- Respect members and staff. We could say it in many other ways, but the general meaning stays the same: treat others as you would like to be treated. We do not tolerate cyber bullying, in any way, shape, or form.
- Treat everyone equally. Just because your friend is a staff member, and your other friend is just a member, treat them both equally. Staff are not 'higher beings' than members. They just help re-enforce said rules. At the end of the day, we are all human.. mostly.
- Keep it in your pants. Literally. We are a PG-13 site, and we understand there are a vast different age groups, and scenes... just keep it under control. No one wants to hear your perverted jokes, or -shudder- see your "pictures" for gods sake.
- Keep cussing to a minumum. We do allow cussing, but only at certain things, not members or people of different forums. We don't mind a few 'oh shit's, but don't go full out "holy fuck, shit, bitch."
- No site bashing. Listen, we totally understand you love us the best (Yeah right..), but please keep any site bashing out of our cbox, and site in general. No one wants their site bashed on, and neither do we. So restrain your animal urges and put your fangs away.
Role Playing
- No God Modding Sure, your character is strong. Not the strongest. Sure, your character is good looking, not the most handsome. Point blank is that your character can think he's the toughest, or most handsome.. but don't roleplay it out where he is. There's a fine line, but we expect every roleplayer to know not to cross it. No one's character is superman, we are sorry to say.
- Be realistic.Honestly, in all god's truth.. a chihuahua is more than likely not going to beat a great dane in a fight. Nor would a bulldog win in a race against a greyhound. There are generalizations that you may presume would or could happen.. and unless it's under an extreme (and we mean very) situation, please be realistic. We can't have ninja chihuahuas running around, now can we?
- Don't act before planning. We mean this, as in you can't go off killing someones character, or raping, or breeding unless the character's owner agrees to it. If so.. we aren't going to stop you.
- Be unique. Come on now, guys. We are old enough to have some creativity. Let's not all create clones around here. It would really limit ideas and game play. Make your character stand out. Whatever they are like, don't make them a plain jane, we beg of you.
- Role play in various boards. It's more fun to have your character role play in different places, not just the same place everytime. Roleplay in the pack territories, in the free lands, or be risky and go into another's land!
- Don't be houdini. We allow you to be in more than one thread at a time, and we have no limit on that. As long as you don't magically dissapear from the thread, and leave others wondering where you are.
- Follow the plot. Yes, we do have a loosely based plot. Please see too it that you allow yourself to incoporate that into your general roleplay. It's kind of the whole point.
- Post at least 200 words. Yes, that is our word count. You must follow it. We understand a word or two below, but if you really must have only that much to write, you might want to wait to get somr more muse.
- Limit Wolfspeak. Not everyone can understand it, so we ask you use as little of it as you can.
Other Information
There are 3 packs, all with different personalities. We allow loners. We allow all kinds of canines. We allow all kinds of genders and sexualities. We do not allow unrealistic mutations or adaptations. You can actually roleplay in any board, but if you role play in the pack lands, you may get into some trouble. Pack leaders are chosen when there are at least five to ten canines involved with that pack, and auditions will be held.
Site staff, will be handpacked, and we may have auditions but it is not very likely. We are new, we are unique, and we in all loving and truth, welcome you to Island Pawprints..
