Strutting her stuff, she walked over to these odd looking hills of sand. They were quite weird and she was extremely curious as to why they were there and what purpose they served. She sniffed the ground around them, careful not to accidentally inhale sand. Now that would suck. She held her head high, chest out and ridge perfectly prominent and beautiful. Her coat looked sleek, and was very soft to the touch. Her eyes held a deep happiness that was somewhat uncommon for Kheeta. A certain playful and flirtyness seemed to glaze over her usual tough rebellion attitude. She cocked her head to the side as she heard the steps of another canine a distance away. Though, since she was facing the mounds, she could not see who it was. She decided she would find out when he or she got there. Or.. if they decided to come over here. A small part of her felt loving today. It wasn't exactly foreign to her, but she rarely felt it like today. It bubbled up in her, and thinking about cuddling up next to a big fluffy akita made her emit a cute and petty giggle. She sat on her haunches, in front of these hills, thinking about the types of males she would.. spend time with in an instant. Though, sadly Kheeta had no memories to think back on a certain mate. She never has had one. She has remained a flirt her entire life, and never really found that guy. Especially with her rebel image she kept, she also was, in all truth a slut. There was no excuse for her behavior and she really didn't care. But, on a day like this, she kind of regret never having a real love. In somewhat deep thought, Kheeta seemed very weird, sitting there like that. Her mind wandering and eyes glazed over. Her back to the world. It was very humorous in a certain sense. Her back, literally to anyone looking onward. And in the very sense of her being the rebel she is, turning her back to the general world was kind of the point. ---------- ooc; Sorry it's short and err suckish. xD I don't know if you want them to recognize each other from the other thread or..? Whichever is fine with me. C:

CIDER Hopelessly, I feel like there might be something that I'll miss! The brute's shoulder blades rose and fell rhythmically as he lugged onward. The bright colored sand squeezed between his toes as he walked, and his features scrunched in disgust. He hated that feeling. But, seeing as he was stranded on an island, he'd have to get used to it. Cider stopped walking for a second. He tipped his head back to rest his white-blue gaze at the sky. It was pretty clear, and he sighed happily as the hot sun took a break, hiding behind one big, fluffy cloud. His mind strayed to other thoughts. Time itself seemed to stop, and he looked to the forest. A random question popped into his mind: What was the meaning of life? Perhaps he'll never know. To find a lover and live happily ever after? Like those tales he'd heard as a pup? He closed his eyes. Whatever the answer was, his life was forever shaken. He was on this stupid island in the middle of no where! A look a defeat and anger passed his face. Why did this happen to him? He was a nobody, hanging around streets, begging for food like a child. But, perhaps, he'd find a life here. Maybe even a lady. His face cleared at the thought. That would be nice, to have someone to love, that loved him back. He shook his head. That was foolish, he'd probably end up getting dumped or something. He'd zoned out again, and focused on his catch. Luckily he had caught some sort of bird when he ventured closer to the lush forest. It was pretty big and colorful. He hadn't seen one like this in his life, so bright and bold. Looking up, he saw that pretty razorback from earlier. She looked like she was daydreaming. Curling his tail, he picked up the bird and padded through the sand, sinking in with every step. His gaze flicked towards the huge mounds of sand. They were so weird! Why would sand be packed up like that? Pushing the question to the back of his mind, he halted as he came up to the female. He didn't know her name. "Miss, are you okay?" he asked as she thought to herself. He dropped the bird at his paws, awaiting an answer.

"Miss, are you okay?" The voice seemed familiar. She turned around to the canine she had seen previously. He was quite handsome. She stood up, and shook her head slightly. Clearing her head of the thoughts she had been buried in. She saw the colorful bird the male had at his paws and it reminded her that she had not eaten at all today. Maybe he'd share. She practically transformed into her old self when she replied to his question. "Why, yes of course handsome. I was just thinking about.. things. Good seeing you again." The words rolled off her tongue almost expertly and she batted her eye lashes , cocking her head and looked curiously at him. His coat was beautiful. Made him devilishly appealing to Kheeta. That pattern of greys and black. Swirled together into a breath taking merle. His body wasn't too bad either. Muscular, yet not too much. His eyes light blue, almost made her want to give him a love bite right there. In her past life, Kheeta always had the ideal treatment. Back at a kennel with other canines. A planned breeding awaiting her. Yet now, she was free. And free she shalt be. She loved this freedom, no rules, no canine any powerful than another. She truly felt at home here. Plus, all the gorgeous males.. what more could she want? The sun was warm on her coat, and she looked him up and down. The other day, they didn't exactly get time to introduce one another, so hopefully today she could spend.. a little alone time with this stud. Her checking him out, was somewhat obvious. She didn't exactly care though. With a nice build like that, he should expect it. And hell, she had the right too. She was still standing, though her body slightly curved. She awaited his response. ---------- ooc; Oh my, my. Kheeta is bad. XD

CIDER
The male looked at the she-dog infront of him, She was quite eye-pleasing, he noticed, and his floppy ears perked as she muttered 'handsome'. No one's called him that before. "You too," he answered. He was actually very pleased to see her again. Cider noticed her gaze rest on the bird for a second. She was probably hungry. Or maybe impressed? Nah. He turned his attention to the sand mounds. They gave off a strange vibe that made his frame sway. He didn't like it. "They're quite strange, aren't they...?" His eyes glittered with confusion.
He moved his eyes back to Kheeta. "I...I never caught your name. I'm Cider," he introduced. His nonexistent eyebrows scrunched together as he saw a creepy looking bug on Kheeta's shoulder. He leaned forward, flicking the bug off with his muzzle. It went flying off in a buzzing fury. He sat back, this time a bit closer. It was a good excuse, he thought.
"Would you mind sharing a meal?" he asked Kheeta. His eyes looked her slim frame over once more.
ooc: IT'S SUCH A FAIL JUST BURN IT NOW.

"They're quite strange, aren't they...?" The male said to her, looking at the mounds of sand she had been looking at earlier. Yea, they really are. But I kind of want to climb them aswell.." She said, looking up at them, thinking about what it would feel like to stand at the top of one of them, looking down at everyone else. She would feel like a young pup. She giggled slightly. A smile on her maw as she watched the males eyes flit over her. "I...I never caught your name. I'm Cider."And then the male did the strangest thing. He brushed his maw against her shoulder. Only when a totally creepy looking bug flew off in a buzzing frenzy did Kheeta understand why. And it totally creeped her out. ""Would you mind sharing a meal?" He said. But she jumped forward, toward Cider, in force that could knock him over. 'Ewww! Ew, ew! That thing could have ate me!" She exclaimed, huddling against Cider, her head under his, curled, halfway laying against his chest in a panicked ball of freakout. She looked up at him and licked his maw. "Thanks.. I hate bugs.." And she shivered. "Oh. And I,m Kheeta, and I,d love to share a meal with you.. Nice to meet you Cider." And she looked up at him totally innocently, the bird he had caught, pushed to the side from her frenzy. Once she calmed down from the bug incident, she realized she quite liked it here, slumped against him as if he was her mate. He did protect her from a totally vile creature.. She then layed down fully, still against his chest/ under his head, looking up at him to speak. She was quite content here. His fur smelled good and he was just fluffy enough to make her feel safe. It was unlike Kheeta to act this way, but she felt so secure around this male called Cider. And maybe, just maybe.. she liked him. Maybe. ---------- ooc; (; Uh oh?

CIDER
Hopelessly, I feel like there might be something that I'll miss!Ears perked as they heard what Kheeta said. Climb them? That'd be a challenge. He guessed she was a dare devil. But to him, that just made her sexier. Not that he would admit that. She was already gorgeous, the black mask that covered her slim muzzle made her look mysterious. Her eyes were very pretty too, a light brown that held a lot of emotion. She was confident, too. Cider had flicked a creepy bug off the female's shoulder, and almost jumped out of his fur as she leaped towards him. He was pushed back a bit as the she-dog snuggled against him. Her head rested under his chin and she shivered from the weird bug. Cider blinked a couple of times and relaxed. A small grin spread across his maw. He rested his head on hers. Kheeta swiped her tongue over his maw, and his ears rose once again. He nosed her cheek once, and she layed down. The male layed down as well, resting his head on her neck. His stomach growled, but he'd eat in a bit. He didn't want to ruin this! No, no. The female finally spoke her name. Kheeta. It was a pretty name, unlike any he's ever heard. Back in his old life, all the dogs were named Buddy or Skipper or Oreo. "Mm, never heard a name like that before." His tail curled around their paws. He could get used to this island, yes he could.

Cider laid down as well, his body wrapped around Kheeta almost protectively. She couldn't keep a smile off her maw. His head rested atop her neck, as he replied "Mm, never heard a name like that before." Her ear twitched as his breath tickled the fine inside hairs of her erect ears. This is hot. Kheeta's mind thought. She snuggled against him, letting out a content sigh. The sun warmed their coats, but it wasn't to extremely hot, just.. perfect.
After just laying there with him for a few moments, she realized that the bird he had caught earlier still lay there, about a foot away. She lifted her head slightly, and spoke "I did promise to share a meal with you.." And her voice got somewhat quiter, somewhat even seductive.. "Are you still up for that..?" She asked, her heart full of.. well what was it full of? Joy? Contentment? Or...love?
She waited for his reply, and she moved her head and neck from under his, to give him another warm lick to his muzzle. Whether it was a loving kiss or a thanking caress, she was going to leave that decision to him. She hadn't meant to make this whole situation so.. well. So dramatic. But he didn't seem to mind.. and neither did she.. so. It was almost okay with her. She was still Kheeta though. And she did not know whether he would see this as a step toward mates, or a friendly lovefest. Kheeta thought this particular male was different than most. At least to her. But.. did that mean she wanted to share more days and nights with him? Did that mean.. she wanted to share her life with him?
Deep in thought, Kheeta's eyes got that somewhat glazed over effect and it was obvious she was thinking about many things. Still waiting for Cider's reply, she lay still, her mind wandering..

CIDER
A bird cawed as it searched for it's friends. Cider flicked his ears to the call, and half opened his eyes. He almost forgot the pretty dog next to him, he thought somehow he was in a dream. He let out a silent sigh, and shuffled a bit as Kheeta shifted from under him. Cider swiftly returned the lick to the maw and moved his head toward the bird.
"Sure, I'll try to pluck it." He's seen humans rip the feathers off birds before. The merle pelted dog grasped a fragile feather in his mouth and pulled. It came out quite easily, and soon he had a pile of wonderful bold feathers. Cider sneezed as a feather tickeld his nose and looked to Kheeta. "Lady's first."
(Sorry it's so short. Gotta head to the store with my mom, when I get time I'll make it more detailed, but you don't need to wait to reply. <3)

The silly male took the bird, and began to pluck feather after feather, and soon there was a naked bird, and two hungry canines laying together in a loving embrace. Not wanting to break this loving bond, though practically drooling when he told her she could go ahead and dig in.. she unravelled herself from him so they could both have some eating space, and laid beside him. She looked at him with the most honest face and cutest expression and replied, "Thank you." And then took the bird and ripped a wing off and used her muzzle to scoot the bird over to him. Then using her front canines, peeled the meat away from the delicate bone and ate. After swallowing the last bit of meat from the bone, she licked her chops and smiled. She looked over to Cider, batting her eyelashes. She looked back up too the sand mounds and let out an excited whimper. A rebel feeling arose in her, and she licked the male beside her, waiting for his finality of his meal, she pushed herself up, shook a little, licking and preening her ridge and cocked her head at Cider. "Wanna climb those with me?" She smiled that flirtatious smile. ---------- ooc; Meh it's okay. I had little muse today.

CIDER
The merle dog lay there in the sand, the sun beating down on his dark pelt. Jaws gaped as his tongue slid between them to pant. The brute stopped this gesture as the plucked bird made it's way over when Kheeta pushed it with her slim muzzle. His stomach felt like it was tied in one big knot. He tried to focus on the meat infront of him, but he couldn't. Cider managed to rip of some meat from the wing and swallow. He really liked this female. What was it about her, though, that has caught his attention so quickly? He didn't know. No doubt she was beautiful, but that should't be all. She was a bit spunky, and he didn't mind that. Cider scrunched his features for a split second. He was sure he'd figure out soon why this female was so...well...different to him. He just had to be sure he wasn't making a fool of himself because Kheeta didn't feel the same way. His head turned towards the waves lappnig hungrilly at the sandy shore.
"Thank you," he heard and swung back to face her. His lips turned upwards into a smile and he gently nosed her cheek in a 'no problem' sort of way. Hopefully they would find more food before they all starved to death. Tossing that thought away, he sat up facing the strange sand mounds. Cider's ears flicked quickly as Kheeta let out a small whine. "Want to climb those with me?" a question errupted from the pretty female beside him. His light eyes scanned the hills. Would they just slip and never be able to get up? Nah, they could make it. And who was he to deny time with Kheeta? Even though he didn't like the feeling he got from those hills, he was sure it was just nerves from the weird island they were stranded on. He tossed a playful smile at Kheeta. "Bring it on."

"Bring it on." Those were the only words she needed. She smiled the most devious, rebellious and craziest smile and launched herself up the side of one of the hills. She slid down a bit, but with continuous momentum and a steady pace, you would continue upward. She pushed herself paw after paw, step after step. Nails digging into the compact sand. "Come on Cider!" She said, her voice strained, but a bit flirty. Willing him to try and conquer the mounds with her. A dirty thought crossed into her mind. Or. At least a totally flirtacious and bad one. "Cider.." She said, in a taunting and flirting voice. "If you beat me too the top.. I,ll kiss you." Though a kiss no more then a lick, it was merely the fact that she considered it a "kiss" that should set the male in motion. Because a lick was a lick. A kiss.. well. It was fairly well that it could lead to other things. Her slender but muscular build made it easy for her to push herself in situations like this. Her toned leg muscles easily supported her and even though she was already panting, and heart racing, her body was just as determined as was her mind. She had no intention to stop, though she would slow down to let Cider catch up with her. Truth was.. she wanted that kiss just as bad as he probably did. And honestly. She even wanted more then that. But she wasn't going to let him know. She didn't even know if he liked her that much. But a small shimmer of hope and pride was settled into kheeta, and instinctivly she pushed all thought of rejection out of her mind. Of course he liked her. She was.. well... and she shook her head to clear the empty trail of words. What was she? She wasn't anything exceptional. A sadness washed over her and her maw held that of a frown. Continually pushing upwards, she was almost to the top of the mound. ---------- ooc; Sorry for the long wait!
