Elisie trudged up and down the hills to her special sleeping spot. Well... Technically, it was her nappy spot, since she didn't go there every night to sleep, instead, she went there every day at around sun-high. Every day. She never missed a day, considering she loved her shady spot to sleep. It was quite peaceful, too. Not many other canines liked going there, so that was a good thing for her. That meant her nap wouldn't get disturbed. Elisie's pink tongue lolled out of her mouth, small pants coming from her. It was pretty warm that day, and this long walk to her napping spot was not helping one bit.
Elisie looked up at the cloudy blue sky and wished she were home, back in the damp, hot, humid air. I mean, she loved this climate, she did, but she just wasn't used to it. She wanted her Louisiana climate back. Sighing, she looked back down at the ground, then back in front of herself. "I wonder what ma and pa are doing without me," the lonely English Bulldog wondered a loud. She did that a lot. When she was alone, she could carry a conversation with herself, but the funny thing was that she couldn't hold a good conversation with another canine like she did with herself. Probably because she knew herself better then anybody did or every would. Or maybe it was because she just enjoyed her own company better then she did others' company. No matter how weird that sounded.
Elisie was almost there when she had to stop in some shade by a boulder. Panting, she looked around the area. This was hers. Well... Hers and her packs, but still, it belonged to her as well. She loved her pack, but the longing of going home still ate at her insides, even though when asked, she'd say something along the lines of, 'Oh... I don't wanna go home!' It killed her to say it. Knowing herself, she probably jinxed herself and now she would never get home. Just fantastic. Sighing, she heaved herself up and continued on. There was bound to be a puddle or to in the clearing she slept in. There always was.
After around ten minutes, Elisie made it to the clearing. The first thing the tired Bulldog did was go and find a puddle to drink out of. She was still not used to the taste of puddle water. She preferred the tap/bottled water her owners gave her. It just tasted so much cleaner to her. Sighing, she trudged through the tall grass towards her tree. Once she made it, she plopped down on her side in the shade, just looking up at the sky before she would fall asleep. Sighing, a yawn escaped her and she took a few looks around.

Off in the distance, Gator saw what appeared to be a Bulldog, lapping some water from a puddle. His curiosity rose, and he silently followed the canine from several hundred feet away. Creeping through the brush, the attractive male watched as the dog sat down under a shade tree and relaxed. The canine looked female, which was a definite plus to Gator. He continued watching, silently stalking her through the tall grass as she lay down and looked up at the beautiful sky. A yawn escaped her maw and that's when Gator inched back a ways and popped his massive head out. He then gradually walked up to her, his chest puffed out, and tail wagging ever so slightly.
His brown eyes could woe any girl that he set them on, and he was bound determined to use their powers on this sweet looking miss. He put on his best smile, eyes softened before words escaped his maw. "Hello pretty lady. What brings you out here?"
She was pretty. And very cute. Gator would love to curl up with her, and keep her warm. The male Akita had a /slight/ obsession with females. Though in most eyes, it was a good thing. He didn't really have a mate, but he was always with the ladies. They gave him a warmth in his heart that no other object, action, or thought would bring out of him. Each was different then the next, no matter what color, breed, or past they had. Deep down, they all had a loving heart and a caring soul that Gator was dying to bring out of them. He adored girls. He saw them as equal to himself.
He cocked his head, in the cutest way and waited for the bulldog's reply. He was eager to talk to her, and get to know her.He continued lightly wagging his tail, and the friendly, handsome smile remained on his kissers.
---------- ooc; Sorry for the suckiness. I had to reply to three posts before this and this is the third character I,ve posted with. Lol. xD

Elisie had just barely closed her eyes when she heard paw-steps coming towards her. Just barely, her mouth turned into a snarl. If she was attacked, she'd be ready. Basically every single muscle in her body was tensed. When she heard the voice of a male, calling her a 'pretty lady', and asking about her whereabouts, she opened her big, dark brown eyes and looked over at him. She was about to snap at him, but seeing those eyes of his kind of just did it for her.
The Bulldog replied in her heavy French accent, "Hello. And this is my napping spot... Which you shouldn't be considering it's my pack's territory." Heaving herself to her feet, she shook out her fur and sat down on her butt, looking up at this canine. He seemed to tower over her, and she kind of liked that. Elisie absolutely hated small dogs. If they were around her size, or smaller then her, then she couldn't talk to them. It was a little weird.
The English Bulldog stood up and chuckled, asking in a playful voice, "So I must ask: What are you doing out here?" Elisie didn't know what he was. He could be from another pack, he could be a loner, he could be anything for all she knew. She wasn't going to pry into his business and ask him, though she did wish he'd tell her.
(OoC: Yeah... My post is kind of suckish as well. >_>)
