History; Ryuk was a creature of desire, many of man kind admire the wolfdog for its likeness to the wolf and its behaviour as a dog. However Ryuk was not such a creature. From his early puppy days he was wanted by breeders outside the kennels in which he was born, due to his even more wolf like appearance than usual. However he was also more wolf like in personality too. Ryuk quickly developed a dislike to the crowding and attention he recieved, though his mother did her best to calm him and tried desperately to encourage him to be tolerant of the humans. At two months old he was sold on to a man in America, a rich and cruel man who considered the ownership of Ryuk to be a sort of fashion. He lived in a large outdoor enclosure with a wolf hybrid, life there was simple enough and the two were free to think of themselves as wild animals. They roamed the forest part of their enclosure much of the time, hunted rabbits and grew to think of one another as brothers. His new 'brother' was a the son of Kyran, a semi domesticated gray wolf, and Fizz, a friendly german shepherd; his name was Rush. However, to the rich man who owned them, the pair were known as 'Wolf', Rush's human known name, and 'Shadow', Ryuk's human known name. By the time Ryuk was a year old he was sold to cover his owner's debt, seperated from Rush forever. He was bought by a strange man, this man made Ryuk think differently about the term 'cruel'. For a whole year he faught in various parts of America, sometimes fighting dogs to win money for his master, and sometimes taking down humans that would threaten his master. It was a tough enough living, but Ryuk was made for such things and succeeded relatively easily in the majority of his tasks, growing stronger and more skilled by the day. At last the time came when he escaped, though the details of such are not important. He ran to the hills and made a living for himself as a stray on the very edge of the city. He was seen very rarely by the locals, sometimes moving into sight to scavange but for the most part living off the nature. Until the morning he woke up, alone on a stretch of beach, completely alone... Personality; Ryuk took many of the wolfish attributes to his nature, he is loyal, protective and brave, as most wolves are, but there is so much more to him than this. Ryuk is a good friend to any canine that has done him no harm, he beleives in getting to know others before judging them and fights only in retaliation. He will end it, but he'll never start it. This isn't the only thing to make him a good friend, he is true and honest, sometimes insensitively so as he would rather be honest than to soften the truth and avoid hurting the feelings of others, he is also fiercely loyal. If Ryuk were to care greatly for another he would not hesitate to defend them, even if it meant putting his own life at risk. Despite all of this Ryuk is still best left a loner. Despite his loyalty, honesty and reluctance to physical violance he can be rude, arrogant and reluctant. He would never take instruction from another and will no longer accept owner nor leader. He can be clever, particularly with survival and quick thinking, having a good sense of logic though it could be put to better use, as it stands his sharp mind is put to most use when inventing insults for any that might urk him in any way. Much of the time Ryuk is a quiet, peace loving canine, but when around others he can be easily influenced. He often exhibits wide ranges of emotions towards others, from a puppy like, enthusiastic playfullness to blind, hatred and hostility. It is not always clear why, but Ryuk beleives that after just one hour with another canine he can accurately judge them, and this effects the treatment they receive from him indeffinately. Appearance; Ryuk is as a wolf would be expected to be, and the distinguishable differences between him and a true wolf are so small that even if he were stood alongside a wolf they might not be noticed. He has the rich, amber gold eyes that are so characteristic and expressive, reflecting every ray of pure, golden sunlight and ghostly, silver moonlight as though they belonged in the heavens themselves. Ryuk had the coat too, though not quite as long or thick as a wolf's coat, it came with all the shades of gray, silver, brown and even bits of black and white to create the wolfish effect that had made him so popular in his youth. The main part of his coat is gray and silver, but leaving his underside and muzzle much paler than the rest. He has a more brown colour around his legs, ears and nose, but with a strong black mantle on his back and upper tail that indicates he has come into adulthood. Phsyically he is a little smaller and sleeker than a true wolf, but the difference is hardly anything at all now that he has grown into such a stong and confident wolfdog. He is never seen in any sort of submissive position, he walks with the confidence and pride as if he were in fact a wolf; he head up high, his tail level with his pack, each paw lifting and falling in completely silence, his sleek coat shifting across him with each movement and giving a small indication to the muscles that ripple beneath. Likes & Dislikes; Likes; Rain; Ryuk has always loved the rain. Perhaps as a youngster it was simply something entertaining for him, but as he grew and became more independant it became an asset, washing away scents, making the prey less aware of his scent and sound and just making the world feel fresh. Dislikes; Swimming; Call it a fear, a phobia, a stupid notion, whatever you will - Ryuk hates swimming. Convinced from early puppyhood that water meant danger he has simply refused to get too far in, he may rest in the shallows on a hot day, but no matter what he will not go any deeper. Likes; Females; Ryuk, as many males do, has a much higher tolerance for females and finds them to be preferable company. He will usually chose to stay with a female than go with a male, with the exceptions of some males that he has a close bond with. Likes; Pups; Ryuk may not seem the type, but he does love youngsters. He has a high level of tolerance for them and loves their simplicity. Particularly he enjoys playing with them and hopes to have pups of his own some day. Dislikes; The Infirm; Ryuk might care, but he has little pitty for the old or sick. It is his belief that the old should die with honour and not drag out their final days gaining the pitty of others. It is his oppinion that the sick should be avoided, partially to ensure his own health and survival and partly because in most cases the sick are gross. Likes; Birds; Every dog will have a moment where it acts like a pup. For Ryuk that moment is when a bird gets close enough to chase it. Though he would never harm the bird he loves to chase them and bark at them. Dislikes; Fish; They live in water, they're slimy and difficult to catch and should you succeed they taste weird in a bad away and are full of awkward tiny bones. Is there anything remotely likeable about such creatures? Likes; Singing; Well - howling. Ryuk loves to howl, it is an outlet for all of his emotions, a way of releasing his stress and letting the world know how he feels and he loves the freedom of it. Likes; Running; There can be no greater sensation than the world falling away beneath your paws, the movement of every muscle, the overwhelming of every sense and the wind rushing through your fur. The more the merrier when it comes to running, its a fantastic thing that must be shared. Dislikes; Packs; Okay, maybe not packs directly. Large groups make Ryuk uncomfortable, and when Ryuk is uncomfortable he can become shoort tempered and anxious, though he would never show it. For the most part he simply avoids large groups. Dislikes; Humans; Ryuk has never met a human he has liked, nor one that ever cared for him. As it stands he is unlikely to. For this reason he has no greater hatred than that for humans. Goals & Desires; Goal; Conquer fear of swimming - Unrealistic and never likely, but he keeps it in mind. Goal; Adapt to living on the island - Obviously fairly important. Goal; Find Companion - Everyone needs one, life would be no fun alone. Desire; To Mate - Ryuk would eventually like to settle down eventually with the right female. Desire; Have pups - It would be nice to be a father Desire; Chase bids - We all have a right to childish longings. Strengths & Weaknesses; Strength; Physically fit - Fast, strong and healthy Strenght; Mentally Adept - Quick, logical mind Weakness; Easily Distracted - Particularly by birds Weakness; Swimming - Only known phobia Weakness; Pride - Too proud to admit fear or submission UNBIAS PACK

Everything looks good, the only thing I found is that you have him as a loner, and we temporarily have a ban on loners. ^^ The ban should end soon, we are only banning them until we have atleast 5 members of each pack. ^^

Just choose a pack that he would be alright in, and once the ban is lifted feel free to make him a loner once more!
