Delilah
Chow Chow/Border Collie , 2 years , Female
History; Delilah was born on the streets of New York. Her mother, a beautiful Border Collie, was the only thing Delilah ever loved. Her father, a Chow Chow, always brought them food, but nothing more. Delilah was about 1 week old, when the man came. He cared about nothing but money. He used Border Collies for show dogs, but that's it. No love. He forced Delilah's mother into a truck. But he couldn't just leave. He came went back and called Delilah and her siblings filthy mutts. Then, he took Delilah in his huge fist as threw her as far as he could. Delilah flew and fell right in the middle of a street. A car almost hit her several times, but she managed to crawl to the other side. She had no idea as to where she was. Then, as she was sleeping, another man, this one a lot nicer, took her up in a blanket and drove her to a weird place. They passed down hallways of cages. Each one had a dog in it. They yelped,"Run kid," or,"Poor Little Thing." Delilah was terrified. She was put in a cage not even big enough for her to stretch out in. She was in that place for 1 year. The day before she was to be put down, a woman and a little boy put a thing around her neck and clipped something to it. They brought her in anothercar. But when she got out, she was at a beautiful house. Delilah lived at the house for another year. She played with the little boy every day. Then one day, when she woke up, a car with sirens was at her house. The woman was on a bed with wheels, and the little boy was crying. He climbed in the siren car and they drove off. Delilah waited for about 2 months, and no one came for her. So, she set to work digging a hole. Once she made it big enough, she slipped under the fence and ran. She kept running until she heard some noise. She turned towards it and ran some more. She stopped by a huge floating car. It was big and gray. As she was about to give it a sniff, a net dropped on her. She was lifted over the water and dropped in. The last thing she heard was the evil laugh of a man. The same one that took away her mother when she was a weekling. That's the last thing she remembers before she woke up on the island.
Personality; A life of hardships has left Delilah a strong willed girl. However, she does have a friendly side. But watch out, because the gal is stubborn. Don't argue with her, because you won't win. Delilah is a good conversationalist. She can keep going forever. And, she does make friends pretty easily. Delilah also has speed in her blood. She amazingly fast. This helps her with her defensive character too. She will protect her pack's territory at any cost. This trait also makes her defensive of her emotions. The only emotion that can break through her straight face act is love. She knows the feeling well enough. And if you're lucky enough to have her fall in love with you, you'll see her good side. Her only wishes are to find her true love, have a family of her own, and that no dog has to go through what she did. And, so far, the only thing she still has with her, and cares about, is the flag bandana that the little boy gave her. And, hiding under her fur and the bandana, a circular tag made of pure gold that can heal any wounds. All wounds, except heartbreak. That's mostly why Delilah never feels any pain. only emotional pain, from the one and only, heartbreak. She definitely is one tough girl, but she has a soft side for other dogs with a background similar to hers. So, in general, Delilah is a tough girl. She does have a soft side though, if you can break through her straight face act. Delilah has only loved one thing in her life, her mother. But, if she does like you more than a friend, she can be a really great dog. Her weak spot is the emotion of love. And, if her gold tag get taken or lost, she will kill to get it it back.
